Visiting the coromandel I never miss the opportunity to take a one-hour walk to Cathedral Cove. This natural wonder features a massive arched cavern that connects two secluded coves. The white rock headland and the cathedral-like arch give the area a majestic feel that is perfect for taking photographs. After walking along the cliff top, I will arrive at the sandy beach where I am met with other people enjoying a picnic under the shade of the pohutukawa trees and swimming. CCathedral Cove is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the natural beauty of The Coromandel.
